What's the deal with Intel's heavy marketing of its brand? What are they spending and is this the optimal policy for a firm in Intel's position? And does the explanation have anti-trust implications?
I probably see more ads for Intel than for any other company right now. And AMD, the last remaining competitor to Intel in the CPU market, is getting wiped out at the higher end of the quality/performance spectrum. At least AMD is doing well in GPUs, wiping out NVIDIA there...not sure how this will end. Most likely with one or more major Chinese rivals (which would be better than no rivals).
