This morning I ran my HR up to 170 bpm and then got down to 133 bpm after a minute, for a 1 minute heart rate recovery of 37 bpm. I assume I could get that to 40 bpm if I ran my HR up to 180 bpm, but I'd first need to do that. So I'll see if I can improve this number to 50 bpm over the next year.
On the other hand, my 5 min recovery HR is 115, so my HR recovery flattens out quite a bit once it gets down to 120 bpm.
Blood pressure this morning was 105/62, resting HR of 42.
