Yes, I still (over)buy books. The local public library is terribly understocked, so buying is much easier, especially since these are not books I read straight through. I got the Friel books yesterday, I thought it was informative that Friel's triathlon book states that 'more than 200,000 sold' on the cover -- what's the conversion rate from book buying to running at least one triathlon? On the other hand, I don't (yet) plan to run a triathlon, I just want to have some context for running, biking and swimming. We'll see where it goes. Also new are the two bike maintenance books and 'Swimming Fastest', which seems to be a swimming counterpart to Lore of Running. Two best books so far, for me, are Lore of Running and the Daniels book.
