I was hoping to use Google Documents to put photo files into the cloud in order to transfer them from Massachussetts to Virginia (especially since I'd forgotten to bring a portable hard disk along on vacation), but that doesn't seem to be a viable solution: upload speeds are just too slow and google documents doesn't allow downloads of file folders over 2GB. I can shoot more photos on a good day than the vacation internet connection can upload.
I'll bring a portable hard disk next time. Why people don't use the cloud.
My wife thinks I should edit down 800 photos to 200...as if I had time for that. I can't really see the photos on the laptop monitor in any case.
