Forecast for 7 am is 82F, 92F heat index, 88% humidity, sunny. High forecast for the day is 101F. I'll probably run, but not a tempo run. Which will make this the 2nd week with no tempo run. Mostly this is since I'm raising my milage and I don't want to add to the stress that creates. But at some point I'm going to have to add a mix of different paced runs back in.
I do think it is funny that I wake up to fogged up windows.
Update #1 (July 22): ran for one hour, but slow (9:17 min/mile), plus some strides at the end. Yes, hot and muggy, but nothing terrible.
I was back at 150 lbs this morning. Probably a combination of my weekend in the land of good take-out pizza and ice cream sundays, and other social eating, as well as too much olive oil and vegtables back here. I am eating when not hungry so that fruit and vegtables don't go bad. I don't think it is muscle gain...it could be more blood plasma from running more miles in this heat?
