The hurricane didn't do much where we were, just some wind and not much rain, but the power went out late Sunday morning and hasn't come back yet. Reports are that there may be no power even Labor Day weekend, which would be very annoying, since everybody including me shows up again for the big Labor Day cookout.
We got to practice 'indoor camping', including the lack of sewers, since the new (non-septic tank) sewer hook-up require electrical power to pump the waste into the sewer system. This means no dish washing or showers.
No photos since the laptop batteries ran down.
Perfect weather and record low tied on Monday.
Update #1 (Aug. 31): power is back in Massachusetts, making for a more comfortable Labor Day.
