I ran 28 min this morning, around 8:30 min/mile. A few twinges at the end, so I stopped short of 30 min. Trails are still too muddy to run on, so this was all pavement. No post-running twinges. I'll run again tomorrow for around 30 min unless my knee does something. I assume I'll do 5x 30min this week, same next week, and then I'll crank up by 5 min a week.
I hit 155 lbs today, due I assume to not running and some eating out with the family. I fasted today from 1 pm onward. Easy, I assume it will have an effect. I expect to be back to 150 by early Oct. by the latest.
My pull-ups are getting better. Today I did 7-4-4-4-6 for a total of 25. I see some potential for elbow tendinitis. I've adjusted my push-up stance to put my hands futher down towards by legs (more under chest than under my shoulders), making the push-ups harder. So I'm down from 3x 50 to 3x 35.
Kid #2 has switched out of soccer and into running as her non-school sports activity.
