Birdy ran up some medical bills last week. She seems fine now. The dangers of (pseudo-) motherhood. She did receive 'avian egg implosion/removal' of an overly large egg. She seems fine now and is subject to more intense anti-nesting care (i.e. less than 12 hours of light exposure and removal of her hiding tube).
Estimated as more expensive than the HDTV I'm looking at, came out as less expensive in the end though. Part of the modern pet experience.
Below her pre-op x-ray and some post-op 'eating' of the green veg (shot by my wife with her phone).
